Terms
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Cuecite app for macOS or a Cuecite account at cuecite.com. By using either, you agree to them. "We" means Cuecite; "you" means the person using it.
Plans
- Free works without an account, with one workspace and your own API keys, Claude Code or Codex.
- BYO License is a one-time purchase for one account on up to two Macs. It adds unlimited workspaces, the knowledge graph, evaluation and reading in full, still with your own API keys or subscriptions. It has no end date. It includes the app updates we release in the 12 months after purchase, and the version you have keeps working after that.
- Monthly plans (Starter, Plus, Pro) include the hours and answers listed on the pricing page for each month. Paid by card, a plan renews each month until you cancel. Paid with QRIS, each payment covers one month; pay again from your account before it ends to continue.
A plan belongs to your account. Sign in on a Mac to use it there; you can sign Macs out at cuecite.com to free a place for another.
Buying
By card: Polar (Polar Software, Inc.) is the merchant of record: it sells Cuecite to you, charges your payment method, collects sales tax or VAT and issues invoices. Its buyer terms apply to the purchase.
With QRIS (in Indonesia, in rupiah): we sell Cuecite to you directly. Paydia processes the payment, and your bank or e-wallet app shows the merchant as DEKA. The plan is added to your account once Paydia confirms the payment.
Prices are shown in US dollars or Indonesian rupiah depending on where you buy from. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Your license to the app
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on your own Macs within your plan. Don't resell or share an account, work around the plan's limits, or copy, modify or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Your documents and the services you connect
Your documents, transcripts and answers are yours. The app sends them only to the services you choose in Settings, as described in the Privacy Policy. When you use your own API key or a Claude Code or Codex subscription, that service's terms and charges apply between you and its provider.
Use it responsibly
- Transcribing a call can require the consent of the other people on it. Make sure you have it where the law or the meeting's rules require it.
- Some exams, interviews and assessments forbid outside help. Follow those rules; Cuecite isn't meant to break them.
- Answers are drafted by AI from your documents and can be wrong or incomplete. Check the quoted source before you rely on an answer.
Availability and changes
We work to keep cuecite.com and the app working, but they are provided as they are, without warranties beyond what the law requires. We may change features over time. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell account holders by email before the change applies.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Ending
You can stop using Cuecite and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing it or working around plan limits.
